AfyaDepo, along with the domains www.afyadepo.com and www.afyadepot.co.tz, is the exclusive property of AfyaSave Limited. Established in 2019, our registered address is 100074 Dar es Salaam, authorized by the Tanzania Business Registration authorities (BRELA).

    • Individual Patients: Users can schedule online video consultations with licensed healthcare professionals. These consultations are for informational purposes and complement traditional medical examinations.
      • Booking Process: Users can browse available healthcare providers or services offered and book appointments directly through the AfyaDepo platform.
      • Consultation: During the consultation, healthcare professionals provide advice, answer health-related questions, and recommend further actions if necessary.
      • Follow-Up: Users can schedule follow-up appointments or continue communication with their healthcare provider through the platform’s messaging system.
      • Payment: Users pay for consultations through the platform, with fees transparently displayed during the booking process. Payments can be made out-of-pocket or through insurance providers based on coverage.
  2. Healthcare Product Purchases:
    • Individual Buyers (B2C): Users can easily order health products at retail prices, subject to stock availability.
      • Product Selection: Users can browse a wide range of health products, including over-the-counter medications, medical devices, and wellness products.
      • Prescription Requirements: Some products may require a prescription, which users must provide at the time of purchase.
      • Delivery: Products are delivered to the user’s specified address. Users can track their orders through the AfyaDepo platform.
      • Returns and Refunds: AfyaDepo has a clear policy for returns and refunds. Users can return products within a specified period if they are unsatisfied or if the product is defective.
    • Business Buyers (B2B): Businesses, such as healthcare facilities, pharmacies, and corporate wellness programs, can purchase health products in bulk at wholesale prices.
      • Bulk Orders: Businesses can place bulk orders, benefiting from wholesale pricing and discounts based on order volume.
      • Procurement Management: AfyaDepo offers procurement management services, assisting businesses in managing their inventory and ensuring timely restocking.
      • Delivery and Logistics: AfyaDepo coordinates the logistics for bulk deliveries, ensuring efficient and timely delivery to business locations.
      • Custom Agreements: Businesses can enter into customized agreements with AfyaDepo, outlining specific terms for pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
  3. Account Security and Privacy:
    • Security Measures: Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts. AfyaDepo implements robust security measures to protect user data.
      • Password Protection: Users must choose strong passwords and update them regularly. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is available for added security.
      • Data Encryption: All personal information and transactions are encrypted to ensure data privacy and security.
    • Privacy Policy: AfyaDepo adheres to a strict Privacy Policy, ensuring that user data is handled with the highest level of confidentiality.
      • Data Usage: User data is used solely for the purpose of providing services and improving the platform. It is not shared with third parties without user consent.
      • Customizable Settings: Users can customize their data preferences and opt-in or opt-out of marketing communications through their account settings.
  4. Termination and Disputes:
    • User-Initiated Termination: Users can terminate their accounts at any time through the account settings.
      • Process: To terminate an account, users must follow the specified process, which includes verifying their identity.
      • Data Deletion: Upon termination, all user data is deleted from the AfyaDepo platform, except for data that must be retained for legal or regulatory reasons.
    • AfyaDepo-Initiated Termination: AfyaDepo reserves the right to terminate user accounts for violations of terms or other valid reasons.
      • Notice: Users will receive a notice of termination, including the reason for termination and any actions they can take to resolve the issue.
    • Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from the use of the platform are resolved in accordance with the governing laws of Tanzania Mainland.
      • Mediation: AfyaDepo encourages mediation as a first step in resolving disputes.
      • Legal Action: If mediation fails, disputes may be taken to court. Users agree to the jurisdiction of the courts in Tanzania Mainland for any legal proceedings for violations. Disputes are resolved following the governing laws of Tanzania Mainland.

Providers

Providers are individuals who offer virtual medical consultations or home-based care visits. Users can book providers through the platform.

  1. Virtual Consultations: Licensed healthcare professionals partner with AfyaDepo to offer online consultations. Specific terms are detailed in the Doctor Partnership Agreement.
    • Eligibility: Only licensed healthcare professionals can register as providers.
    • Service Offering: Providers must list available services, consultation hours, and fees on the platform.
    • Quality and Compliance: Providers must adhere to professional standards and comply with relevant healthcare regulations.
    • Payment and Fees: AfyaDepo collects fees from users and remits them to providers, after deducting a service fee.
    • Confidentiality: Providers must maintain patient confidentiality and comply with privacy laws.
    • Termination: AfyaDepo reserves the right to terminate the provider’s account for non-compliance or other valid reasons.
  2. Home-Based Care: Providers offer home-based care services. Location-based details and further specifics are crafted in the Home-Based Care Agreement.
    • Service Scope: Providers must specify the types of home-based care services offered.
    • Safety and Quality Standards: Providers must adhere to safety and quality standards applicable to home care.
    • Insurance and Liability: Providers must have necessary insurance and accept liability for their services.
    • Termination: AfyaDepo reserves the right to terminate the provider’s account for non-compliance or other valid reasons.

Partners

Partners are businesses that assist in fulfilling orders of physical products to nearby users who purchase from AfyaDepo. Partners can also be affiliates who promote our products through various channels to their followers.

  1. Order Fulfillment: Partners are responsible for promptly fulfilling orders from the AfyaDepo Platform, ensuring product availability and adhering to quality standards.
    • Inventory Management: Partners must ensure that products listed on AfyaDepo are in stock and available for delivery.
    • Quality Standards: Partners must comply with AfyaDepo’s quality standards for all products.
    • Order Processing: Partners must process and deliver orders within the specified timeframe (typically within 2 hours).
    • Delivery: Partners must arrange for delivery to customers and ensure timely delivery. Customers pay a flat rate of 2,000 Tsh for order delivery.
  2. Pricing Agreement: Partners align their product prices with those listed on AfyaDepo, allowing for adjustments based on market conditions.
    • Price Changes: Partners must notify AfyaDepo of any price changes in advance.
    • Special Discounts: Partners can offer special discounts with prior approval from AfyaDepo.
  3. Payment Collection and Distribution: AfyaDepo manages payment collection for completed orders.
    • Payment Terms: Retail payments are deposited into the partner’s account, with AfyaDepo retaining a 15% service fee. Wholesale orders include a 2% margin added by AfyaDepo to each product.
    • Payment Schedule: Payments are processed on a regular schedule, typically weekly.
  4. Branding: Partner premises prominently display the AfyaDepo Partner label for customer visibility. Orders are delivered in specially branded AfyaDepo packages.
    • Marketing Materials: Partners must use AfyaDepo’s approved marketing materials and branding guidelines.
  5. Affiliate Program: Partners can also join our Affiliate Program to promote AfyaDepo and earn commissions for customer referrals. Details are outlined in the Affiliate Program Agreement.
    • Commission Structure: Affiliates can earn commissions of up to 20%.
    • Registration and Approval: Affiliates must register through the AfyaDepo platform and may be subject to an approval process.
    • Affiliate Responsibilities: Affiliates must ensure their promotional activities comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
    • Commission Payment: Commissions are paid out as specified in the Affiliate Program Agreement.
    • Termination: AfyaDepo may terminate an affiliate’s participation for breach of terms or any other valid reason.

Suppliers

Suppliers are businesses interested in listing their brands on the AfyaDepo Platform. Suppliers can freely register on the platform and submit their medical product listings.

  1. Product Listing: Suppliers can list their medical products on the AfyaDepo Platform. AfyaDepo Platform Team assists in growing their brand, especially through online brand marketing.
    • Product Information: Suppliers must provide accurate and complete product information, including descriptions, images, and prices.
    • Quality Assurance: Suppliers must adhere to high product quality standards and relevant regulations.
  2. Communication and Updates: Suppliers commit to clear communication with AfyaDepo, providing updates on product availability and promptly addressing any issues.
    • Order Notifications: Suppliers will receive order notifications via email and must promptly acknowledge and fulfill orders.
    • Product Availability: Suppliers must inform AfyaDepo of any changes in product availability or delays.
  3. Compliance: Suppliers must comply with all laws and regulations governing the sale of pharmaceutical and medical products.
    • Regulatory Requirements: Suppliers must ensure that all products comply with regulatory requirements and standards.
    • Liability: Suppliers accept liability for any issues arising from their products.
  4. Branding and Marketing: Suppliers are encouraged to work with AfyaDepo to enhance their brand visibility and market reach.
    • Marketing Support: AfyaDepo offers marketing support to help suppliers grow their brands online.
    • Collaborative Campaigns: Suppliers can participate in collaborative marketing campaigns with AfyaDepo.

General Provisions

  1. Modification of Terms: AfyaDepo reserves the right to modify terms and services with or without notice.
  2. Legal Compliance: Users, providers, partners, and suppliers must comply with applicable laws and regulations.
