The monitor features a memory function for 2 distinct users, storing up to 60 measurements for each.

Operating Instructions

1. Preparation: Sit calmly with your back supported and feet flat on the floor; rest for at least five minutes before starting.
2. Cuff Placement: Wrap the cuff snugly around your bare upper arm, positioning the tube over the center of your arm and ensuring the cuff is level with your heart.
3. Measurement: Press the ‘Start’ button (One-touch operation). The cuff will automatically inflate and then deflate. Remain still and silent during this process.
4. Reading: Read the displayed digital values for SYS (Systolic), DIA (Diastolic), and PUL (Pulse).
5. Storage: The device automatically turns off after 3 minutes of inactivity to save battery life.

The SureSign monitor operates on the Oscillometric Technology coupled with a Fuzzy Algorithm. When the upper arm cuff automatically inflates, it temporarily restricts blood flow. As the air pump deflates, the device’s sensor detects the tiny pressure fluctuations (oscillations) created by the arterial pulse wave. The Fuzzy Algorithm processes these oscillation amplitudes to determine the Mean Arterial Pressure (MAP), from which it then calculates and converts the Systolic and Diastolic blood pressure values into digital millimeters of mercury (mmHg) for display.
