Salbutamol Respules are solutions of Salbutamol Sulfate formulated for nebulization. Each respule (e.g. 2.5 mL) delivers 2.5 mg of salbutamol for inhalation therapy.

Usage Instructions
- Remove a respule from its foil backing.
- Open by twisting or snapping top.
- Pour into nebulizer cup.
- Attach mask or mouthpiece and inhale until mist dissipates (≈5–10 minutes).

- Nervousness, increased heart rate
- Rarely hypokalemia or arrhythmia
Interactions / Compatibility
- Use with other β₂-agonists cautiously.

Mechanism of Action
Salbutamol stimulates β₂-adrenergic receptors in bronchial smooth muscle, increasing cyclic AMP levels, causing relaxation of bronchial muscles and consequent airway dilation.
