Product description

The Portable Mesh Nebulizer Machine is an advanced, compact medical device engineered to provide efficient respiratory therapy for patients suffering from acute and chronic airway conditions. Respiratory ailments such as asthma, bronchitis, and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) are increasingly prevalent in East African urban environments due to dust, seasonal allergies, and air quality challenges. In Tanzania, traditional tabletop compressors can be difficult to use during power supply fluctuations. This portable mesh nebulizer addresses that challenge by operating silently on battery power, allowing both children and adults to receive their bronchodilator or corticosteroid treatments seamlessly anytime, anywhere. Its lightweight structure and fast aerosol delivery ensure optimal medication compliance and immediate relief during respiratory distress.

Models & SizesThis device features a universal, pocket-sized ergonomic design suitable for all age groups. The package includes a standard portable mesh ultrasonic core unit, one detachable and easy-to-clean medication cup (8ml capacity), one contoured adult face mask, one pediatric face mask, and an ergonomic inhalation mouthpiece.

Intended UsesIndicated for the rapid aerosolization of liquid medications for direct inhalation therapy, specifically targeted at managing asthma, COPD, chronic bronchitis, and other upper or lower respiratory tract disorders in pediatric and adult patients.

Operating InstructionsThoroughly wash your hands before assembling the device. Open the medication cup cover and pour the prescribed liquid medication into the chamber, ensuring it does not exceed the maximum 8ml limit line, then snap the lid securely closed. Attach either the appropriate face mask (adult/pediatric) or the mouthpiece to the main unit connector. Sit in a comfortable, upright position, place the mask snugly over your nose and mouth (or place the mouthpiece between your teeth), and press the power button to begin treatment. Inhale slowly and deeply to allow the fine mist to penetrate deep into your bronchial pathways. The device will automatically switch off when the medication is fully depleted. After every single use, detach the medication cup, rinse it thoroughly with warm distilled water to prevent micro-mesh clogging, and allow it to air dry completely.

Potential RisksMinor temporary cough or throat irritation caused by the cool temperature of the inhaled mist; localized facial skin irritation from prolonged mask contact; risk of localized pulmonary infection if the medication cup and mesh are not regularly cleaned or sterilized.

CompatibilityFully compatible with standard prescribed respiratory solutions such as Salbutamol, Ipratropium Bromide, and Budesonide, as well as standard AA alkaline batteries or universal 5V USB power adapters.

WarningsDo not use pure distilled water, plain tap water, or oily/viscous medications in this device, as they will permanently clog or damage the laser-drilled micro-mesh plate. Never touch the delicate mesh membrane with your fingers, cotton swabs, or sharp objects. Do not boil the main electronic base unit or submerge it in water. If multiple patients are using this device, ensure that the face masks and medication cups are thoroughly sanitized between sessions to prevent cross-contamination. Always seek immediate emergency medical care in the nearest healthcare facility if a severe respiratory attack does not respond to your nebulized rescue medication.

Mechanism of OperationThe Portable Mesh Nebulizer utilizes a high-frequency ultrasonic vibrating mesh mechanism to generate medical-grade aerosols. At the core of the device is a micro-perforated alloy plate containing thousands of laser-drilled microscopic apertures. An internal piezoelectric ceramic ring drives high-speed electronic vibrations at an ultrasonic frequency of approximately 110 kHz. This rapid mechanical oscillation pulls the liquid medication from the reservoir and forcefully drives it through the micro-holes of the mesh plate. As the fluid passes through, it is instantly sheared into a highly uniform, low-velocity aerosol mist with a Mass Median Aerodynamic Diameter (MMAD) of less than 5 microns. This ideal droplet size ensures optimal aerodynamic deposition, bypassing the upper oral cavity to deposit active drug particles deeply into the peripheral bronchioles and pulmonary alveoli for rapid therapeutic action.
