Side Effects
Photosensitivity (sunburn risk), nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, esophageal irritation if taken without water. Rarely, intracranial hypertension.
Interactions
Reduced absorption with dairy, antacids, or iron. May reduce effectiveness of oral contraceptives. Interacts with anticoagulants and retinoids.
Warnings
Avoid in children under 8 years and in pregnancy. Take with full glass of water, remain upright for 30 minutes. Use sunscreen due to photosensitivity risk.
